Farming playbooks for juicing maps — waystone filters, tablet and atlas notes, and prep tips.
Force Abyss pits, path Balance of Power → Amanamu, and drag Amanamu’s rares out of their dark cloud before killing them so they drop Omen of Light and Omen of Abyssal Echoes. Unlike 200% Delirium Abyss you can skip the fog, and unlike Ulaman Currency Chests you are fishing for those chase omens rather than raw chest volume.

Prep
Stash-filter T15–16 for item rarity / monster rarity floors — Monster Effectiveness is not an omen AND.
Run order
Open pits as they spawn; pull Amanamu rares out of darkness, then kill.
Amanamu omen farming is a positioning check — kill outside the dark cloud, not a max-DPS race inside it.
Leash the ones that spawn with the dark void cloud (Amanamu’s Void) — that cloud is the tell. Pull them out, then kill outside for Omen of Light / Omen of Abyssal Echoes. Abyss rares without that cloud can die in place. Finish a void-cloud rare inside the cloud and you get worthless Omen of the Liege instead.
Lord of the Pit is pick-one — Agitation (Scattered pits), Extension (Eff per closed Pit), or Proliferation (+Abyss chance). PoE2DB only says pits scatter across the area. The clearest grounded upside is layout geometry: Fubgun’s Abyss + Rogue Exiles guide picks Scattered so pits cover more of the map and Rogue Exiles are more likely to be consumed by Abyss. For this omen farm he also claims Scattered prints more Abyss rares (Light / Echoes pulls) — that rare-count line is still practitioner vibe, not a tooltip “+% rares.” Default Agitation on non-Overrun maps; when Overrun already scatters, swap to Extension.
Contested for omen rare-count — Fubgun-only. Grounded for exile-consumption geometry (Fubgun exile VOD). Dig 2026-07-19: Lolcohol/Maxroll/GGG do not corroborate “+% rares.”
Swap Lord of the Pit from Agitation (Scattered pits) to Extension — Abyssal Monsters gain Effectiveness per closed Pit (up to 100%) — because Overrun already scatters. Fubgun’s updated Abyss video says the same when socketing the unique Abyss tablet that overruns: skip scatter and take Eff-per-closed-Pit. Default stays Agitation when the map is not Overrun. Proliferation (+Abyss chance) is the third pick, not the Overrun swap.
Used
Chase Light / Echoes need kill outside the dark cloud; in-cloud → Omen of the Liege → patch notes
Atlas chips are named notables with current effects — not vague “full branch” / value-node dumps → patch notes
Amanamu chase-omen kill position + IR/MR waystone craft; in-cloud → Liege carve-out below
Scattered pits → exile consumption geometry (grounds Amanamu Scattered FAQ; not a +% rares tooltip)
Character gear Item Rarity ≥100% (~150% optimal) multiplies with map / monster rarity on Amanamu omen drops — not map waystone Item Rarity
Staff / practitioner Abyss atlas list — Balance of Power / Amanamu path vocabulary
Staff Abyss overview — Amanamu / Depths vocabulary; void-cloud positioning stays on Fubgun VOD
Sprawling Rupture: Abysses spawn 25% increased Monsters — scatter is Lord of the Pit → Agitation → patch notes
Abyss atlas notable — Abysses spawn 25% increased Monsters (not pit scatter)
