Farming playbooks for juicing maps — waystone filters, tablet and atlas notes, and prep tips.
Force Strongbox density, Alch your Researcher's boxes to load them with contained currency, then clear the guard wave they spawn so the box actually pays out. Unlike altar-shop Ritual or Breach-density farms, the paycheck is the crafted box loot plus the monsters it releases on open — not Favour windows or floor filters.

Atlas Passives
Path Strongbox type / guard juice; Hidden Compartments is 15% openable twice (not a free double).
Prep
Pre-filter Quantity / Pack Size / Rares; stage Alchemy for Researcher's crafts.
Run order
Path Strongboxes; craft Researcher's first; open while density is live.
Strongbox opens are a burst guard fight — dangerous prefixes and rare packs punish glass clicks.
Prioritise Researcher's — Alch (and Exalt when priced) for Quantity / Rarity of Contained Items; that is the currency paycheck. Ornate with Quant/Rarity is the SSF rare/unique lane. Cartographer's with Quantity helps waystone sustain. Skip spending Alchemy on plain / Low-value types when Researcher's are on the map.
Usually no. Strongbox prefixes are mostly danger / guard packs, while suffixes carry Quantity and Rarity of Contained Items. Once a Rare Researcher’s already has three prefixes, further Exalts rarely improve the paycheck — stop and open.
No — Lolcohol finds no substantiated evidence the fifth open has better drop odds, and the gold cost scales hard (up to ~1050% per step). Take early cheap opens when you find Ventor’s; skip dumping millions of gold on the last click unless you are swimming in gold and want the gamble.
